CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, running, and lifting) executed at high intensity. The workouts themselves are completely scalable, which means that a new participant and a seasoned athlete can complete the same workout but with minor individual adjustments. - Power – The ability of a muscular unit, or combo of muscular units to apply maximum force in minimum time.
- Coordination – The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement.
- Balance – The ability to control the placement of the bodies’ center of gravity in relation to its’ support base.
